The CHS girl’s soccer team season began Tuesday, August 20th.
The coaches are Lauren Neal and Neil Ellis.
Varsity captain is Brinna Spaetgens, and the Junior Varsity captain is Kristen
Brackett. This year, two new players (excluding freshman) have joined the team,
Holly Baugh and Tasha Susa.
Junior Varsity starters are Jessica Panker, Natasha Susa, Shealyn Morgan, Nicole
Dickinson, Madyson Burgess, Molly Sasser, Libby Lamb, Ashton Clouse, Ellen Epley,
Stephanie Davis, and Sandra Gore.
The Varsity starters are Courtney Bressler, Sue Donnovan, Vee Donnovan, Brinna
Spaetgens, Dana Richardson, Kristen Brackett, Lauren Metts, Malanie Seal, Katherine
Lynn, and Holly Baugh.
The soccer team hopes to win the district this year, but first they will have
to beat their two main rivals, Sparta and Oakland. Junior Sue Donovan says,
“This is looking like it will be a good season. We’re looking toward
the seniors to help support the whole team.”
Another goal was to have a larger crowd. This promises to be an exciting season
of soccer, so come support the CHS girl’s soccer team!
The home games this season are as follows: September 13, Notre Dame, September 17, Warren Co., September 24, Blackman, September 26, Lebanon, October 1, Soddy Daisy.
