Misfits reign on

Brandon Grissom, Charger Staff

With the impending release of Misfits volume three, I took the time to interview the lovable little fellows.

You might know them as Orin Christianson,Christian Schmidt, and Matt Stone, but I know them as three heroes destined to provide the world with laughter.

I started by asking them where they get their ideas. Orin say, “Ideas come from various places such as trash cans and stupid people.”

I also asked, “What is the funniest thing you’ve ever done?” According to Orin, he once made a snow angel while wearing only a speedo.

Christian adds, “I once got really mad at Matt and filmed myself throwing a trash can lid at him.”

I then posed the question; “What is the most trouble you have ever been in for doing something stupid?” Christian says, “One time we had to explain to a policeman why we were sitting in the road and why Orin wasn’t wearing pants.”

Orin proudly declares, “I got two weeks of lunch detention for undisclosed reasons.”

Matt joins in with, “I had an entire police force called on me for setting off fire crackers.”

I asked, “How long will it be before volume three is released?’ Christian says, “It’ll be out before Christmas and it might be on DVD.”

Orin informed me that a single is three dollars, and a complete set will be sold for seven dollars. T-shirts are seven dollars.

As a final question to these gods of comedy, I asked, “What is the stupidest thing you have ever done?” It involved Orin in a rather unflattering position on an exercise bicycle.

If you like to see pranks and stupidity in its rawest form, I suggest that you run and buy Misfits volumes one, two, and three.
