First of all, the CHS Dance Team would like to thank Coach Susan for all her time, patience, and outstanding choreography.  WE LOVE YOU!!!!!!

The 2009-2010 CHS Dance Team once again had great success this year. During the fall the dance team performed with the CHS marching band during half time of the football games and traveled weekends to compete with the CHS marching band.

This December, the dance team won 1st place in hip-hop at the Jamfest Nationals.

On Feb. 4th the CHS Dance Team traveled to Orlando, FLA to compete in the UDA (Universal Dance Association) Nationals. This competition is the best of the best over 400 teams come to compete and over 10,000 spectators are there to watch, along with ESPN to film everything so they can air it later this month.

Cookeville High School competed on Saturday in semi finals, to find out that they made it to finals and were going to walk out on that stage at the Wide World of Sports in front of all those people and ESPN.

Cookeville High School is proudly ranked 16th in the nation!

The CHS dance team then traveled to the Jamfest Dance Super Nationals where they placed 3rd overall.

With dedication, hard work and the support of our community, these young girls have made it their goal to represent CHS and Cookeville, to make it known that Cookeville High School has one of the top dance programs in the country.
